Only the front wheel drive vehicles with this engine have the timing chain water pump. So, the mustang, F150, and Transit (as mentioned previously by someone else) has a regular belt driven water pump.

I have the 5.0L Coyote V8 in my 2011 F150 with 137,000 miles on it and still going strong and it's a beast and it sounds like a beast with the Borla ATAK Catback exhaust.

If it's so good, how come they put a timing chain driven water pump in it? generated a class action lawsuit? A Motorcraft water pump for my 4.6 is $50 and I can do it myself in an hour or so. $2000 for this one? (labor and parts -would not do it myself ) Judge dismisses it in favor of Ford? Go figure. I would NOT buy the vehicle for that reason alone.

A limited slip rear end is better, this electronic shit rear end is only helpful at slow speed and off road, on dry pavement it doesn’t work and at speed it doesn’t work either. Take corner on a gravel road at speed and try to drift the corner.... all you get is one wheel peel, no traction and this locking diff won’t do shit.

Durability my ass. 218k on the truck, dropped a valve or so they say. $18k later I get it back with a new long block. And Ford Motor Company nowhere to be seen or heard of. I'm not the only one it's happened to.
